Blog 40: How I tackle jeans

I’m not going to lie to you, the process of finding a good pair of jeans scares me. I have very long legs which is extremely unhelpful when you need to find a pair of jeans as I find most of them go to mid way down my calf. Nothing is more infuriating then everyone raving about Topshop jeans, me finally getting off my arse to try on some Topshop jeans then finding that the longest pair they do are for people 5″ and below. After that I gave up. I had one pair of River Island jeans which didn’t flatter me at all but they were good for a jean and jumper day.

After being contacted by the PR company that works with Joe’s Jeans, I was rather sceptical of what the jeans would be like when they came. I gave my waist size and my length and was fully prepared for an awkward fit. So what a surprise when I tried them on and they fit like a glove. I was so excited to finally have a pair of flattering, high waisted and perfect length jeans. Obviously this then called for a photoshoot.

These jeans fit SO WELL! When I was strutting round Embankment I was feeling so incredibly sassy in these jeans, something which my old jeans had never made me feel. The material of the jeans is quite stretchy and a bit lighter than my other pair but I think this is what made them fit so well. 100% would recommend these jeans to anyone that wants to invest in a seriously good pair that are good quality.

Before I end this post I have to say the biggest thank you to Harit Gillar who has made me look BOMB. I promise you it’s all his skills rather than my modelling which have achieved these gorgeous photos. Go check his photography out as he is insane!! (@haritgillar)
