A mild crisis was averted when I put this outfit together. By that I mean I strutted down the street not looking like a potato sack. Not only have my friends seen me wear this too much, but even the world is getting tired of me wearing the most me outfit ever. So if you haven’t guessed, pink is pretty much my favourite colour. It’s so pretty and feminine, perfect for a costa white girl like me (yes, I’m now one of those people). It’s the sort of outfit that makes you look and feel confident because to be perfectly honest, you gotta have guts to wear silver metallic boots. The pink skirt is simply a staple for every girl even if pink isn’t your favourite colour. It’s flexible and easy to work with plus it works perfectly into a summer outfit. I’ve styled it up for a cooler day in England, because we are lucky if the sun ever shines. I know I should move on, but I can’t break myself away from this outfit so it’s here to stay!
Skirt, New Look £22.99
So obviously the most important item of this outfit is this gorgeous faux leather A-line pink skirt. I grabbed it from New Look and actually paid full price for it (for once, this is how much I love this pink skirt). It was worth all the money and it has already been worn to death. I love the way it sits on the body as it flatters my figure. The zip works perfectly and the whole item is true to size (I got a size 8).
Bodysuit, New Look £17.99
This bodysuit was hanging next to the skirt in the shop and I knew they would work perfectly together. At first I wasn’t sure about the huge frill with the long sleeves but as soon as I put it on I was sold! It’s a beautiful bodysuit made out of a really soft fabric and isn’t see-through! Again true to size (size 8) and it fits around my enormous shoulders so winning.
Boots, Zara £22.99
I know what you’re thinking. No, I’m not crazy, I’m mad. The idea came for these when I saw the Kurt Geiger ones which were retailing at £165 and were 2 inches higher. However I saw the best dupes in Zara but for £50 they were out of my price range. That was until the mid-season sale where I snatched them up for only £22.99. I honestly think they are one of the coolest purchases ever. I mean I practically blinded Felix (my photographer, link below). They are a statement shoe and fit perfectly with the outfit.
Bag, Stolen from my mum
This bag is the perfect colour to bring my outfit together. The simple camel shade goes perfectly with the pink and makes the outfit very sophisticated. It’s also like a Mary Poppins bag. Looks small but inside I can fit a large camera, purse, phone, charger etc. It’s wonderful. Thanks to my mum for letting me steal it.
Necklace, Jewels by Durrani £48.49
This necklace was sent to me from Jewels by Durrani. At first I liked it but wasn’t obsessed by it as I was going through my faze of chunky jewellery. However this summer, you will not see me without it. I have pretty much become emotional attached to this necklace. It’s called the “Dainty evil eye necklace” which is supposed to bring good luck and I honestly believe it has so now it’s my lucky charm. It’s so perfect as it goes with every outfit under the sun and looks expensive. It is £50 but it is gold plated and shows not signs of wear. This is a good quality necklace and one that I would definitely recommend.
